16 March 2020
Greetings to all ForYou customers and friends,
As we enter uncharted territory over the coming weeks and possibly months, I wanted to update you on how we at ForYou are are responding to what will likely be a difficult time for everyone.
Our utmost concern is the health and safety of our staff and customers. We appreciate you will be receiving a lot of information and guidance regarding COVID-19. We urge everyone to follow all guidelines established by Government and local authorities. If everyone does their part to help mitigate the crisis it will enable all of us to come out the other side of this much sooner.
All our administrative team including our customer service team are now working remotely until further notice. For now, our manufacturing partner’ and supplier’ warehouses remain open, logistic chains are operational and are working in accordance with HSE and WHO guidelines and it is business as usual.
We are running all lead times as usual and you won’t notice any difference in the service we offer.
We would like to remind all customers that you can send your gift orders direct to the recipient to ensure social distancing is upheld. We do not include any invoices or receipts with our packages as these are sent to you, the purchaser, by email.
As of today, March 16th, all our standard deliveries with An Post are operating as normal within Ireland. Our courier partner, DPD has ceased passing the driver’s scanner to the consignee to capture a proof of delivery signature. Instead, where the recipient is present to receive delivery, the driver will retain possession of the scanner, will request the name of the signatory which they will record. The driver will not capture the signature of the recipient. Where “Safe Place” or “Letterbox” options are in place for the delivery, GPS co-ordinates are captured at the point where the parcel is scanned as delivered.
We are monitoring the situation as closely as possible and will update if the situation changes.
We are thankful you’ve chosen ForYou for your gifting celebrations and we are proud to have each and everyone of you as a customer.
Stay safe, take care of your family and friends, and we’ll all get through this together.
