The hammer was a bit smaller than an normal sized one but then its really only a novelty to make an occasion. My husband was delighted with it.

When the hammer arrived it struck me that it was quite small. The handle looks standard but the head of the hammer is smaller than a standard hammer. I bought it for my husband and although it went down well for the novelty factor i don’t think he will be using it for heavy duty work. It looks strong enough but is just a bit dainty for his liking. It would be better suited for small jobs around the house instead of heavy duty work. Also I felt the text was not bold (dark) enough to read easily and the font looked a bit squashed as it is all in upper case. A great concept… but not as good as i hoped.
